I have this problem since a few days after the latest Version 12.0.1 of macOS Monterey was installed. Recently I wanted to install some of the new RC8 aircraft that I had downloaded. HMD display seems fine in Prepar3D, DCS World and Aerofly FS2 but not so much in X-Plane 11. You can use this controller for Windows PCs and also Apple Mac Computers.
